The MUCA presents the first solo exhibition of the renowned contemporary artist Alexandre Farto alias Vhils in Germany.
The exhibition shows a comprehensive selection of the Portuguese artist's works from the past two decades. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the development of his distinctive artistic style using a wide range of materials, techniques and conceptual approaches.
Vhils is internationally renowned for his unique approach to urban art, which has revolutionised our perception of the environment and the way we interact with it. His works - from filigree wall carvings from the "Scratching the Surfaces" series to explosive relief sculptures, large-scale installations and mixed-media compositions - transcend the traditional boundaries of art. This exhibition offers a rare opportunity to explore and understand Vhils' artistic career in unprecedented depth. His works reflect themes of identity, memory and urban transformation through the lens of individual and collective experience.

Among them outstanding Representatives of urban and contemporary arthow Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Keith Haring, Invader, Antony Micallef, Kusama, Swoon, and much more.
The MUCA collection had its Starting point in 1998 with the first works that can be attributed to pop and street art culture. In the course of the MUCA's development, it became around important international artists extended.
The MUCA collection now comprises over 1,200 objects and worksfrom which selected exhibits are currently Co-operation museums worldwide as will now be seen again at the Munich site
